A family fishing outing/picnic...

Got an early start today and after getting the boys dressed and lunches packed, etc., we headed over to first creek for some exploring.  Although the goal was originally to make it back to the lake we were thwarted.  We pushed our way through three serious logjams, pushing, tying off and pulling trees out of the way, fishing them off of the prop and lower unit every few minutes.  And then we saw the fourth log jam.  Bank to bank in the slough, and wedged.  Should have brought the chain saw.  At any rate, Abran and Warren were getting hit hard with the skeeters, so we turned around and went back to the entrance of the slough and set up Abrams play yard, had an early lunch and caught some butterflies, and eventually some pike.  Was a blast!!!  Got enough cool pics that we couldn't pick just one for the "Day in the Life" post, so here's a smattering in random order. :)
